Alexia C. Couccoullis

Ms Alexia Couccoullis has graduated from Athens College and continued her studies in the Faculty of Law of University of Athens. She is a researcher of Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London specialised on the European Company (Societas Europaea) with a comparison focus to the legal systems of Greece, Cyprus and England.
She is an attorney-at-Law to the Athens Bar Association, and a partner of the Law Firm “Constantinos N. Couccoullis and Associates”. She is independently active as a lawyer in Greece and Cyprus and has an international collaboration through Warwick Legal Network (an international association of independent law firms).
She is majoring in the projects of transition of the conventional legal entities to the form of a Societas Europaea and that includes every step of the transition, initial study, reports, final implementation by leading a group of experts in different relative fields .
She is a national expert for Greece and Cyprus for the Max Planck Institute in issues such as, fraud, corruption and EAW (European Arrest Warrant) in co-operation for projects on behalf of OLAF.
She is appointed as the specialist for Greece and Cyprus of the Instituto Europeo de Derecho for the draft of national reports regarding issues of elections for the European Parliament under commission of the Council of Europe.
